Events for Prospective Students

If you are interested in attending the School of Public Health, we encourage you to attend one or more of the following events. If you cannot join us, you can schedule a tour through the Visitor Services web site. In addition, you may consider contacting a staff member from the program to which you hope to apply to schedule an appointment.

Pre-Application Advising Sessions

This is your chance to get information first hand from our admissions team, our awards specialist, and the individual programs and areas of study. All sessions will be held in 150 University Hall.

  • September 17, 2009 - 9-11 a.m. FULL
  • October 7, 2009 - 3:30-5:30 p.m.
  • November 4, 2009 - 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Space for the Pre-Application Advising Sessions is limited; we are now accepting RSVPs for the October 7 session. To RSVP, please send an e-mail to sphadmit@berkeley.edu with "10/7 advising" as the subject line and your full name and proposed degree and area of concentration in the body of the message.

 

Public Health Conference for Prospective Students

The annual Public Health Conference for Prospective Students, an all-day conference will give you more insight into what our programs are like, what careers are available to public health graduates, the application process, and options for funding and financial aid. Each spring, thousands of visitors and new students converge on UC Berkeley for Cal Day, the campus's annual open house. On this day more than 300 exhibits, lectures, and festivities take place all over campus demonstrating what the university has to offer. more info
